Daily Life Brief & Life Score: how MotiveLife chooses today’s one priority
July 31, 2026
MotiveLife’s morning job is ruthless focus: one priority that compounds. The Daily Life Brief is that priority. Life Score is how you see whether the week is trending up.
Reading the Daily Life Brief
Open Today each morning. You should see:
- A greeting and short context from your Chief of Staff
- Today has one priority — the mission
- Time estimate and potential Life Score gain
- A clear Start today’s mission action
If you see ten competing tasks, ignore the noise. Start the brief’s mission first.
How to work the brief
1. Read the why (why this mission moves career / health / money / habits). 2. Start the mission while energy is high. 3. Mark it done when finished. 4. Only then open secondary tasks from Voice Organize.
Protect mornings for deep work when the brief asks for it. One priority beats ten maybes.
Understanding Life Score
Life Score is a momentum signal across your life map — not a video-game vanity metric.
- Scores move when you complete meaningful actions.
- Weekly change (for example +4 this week) shows trend.
- Streaks reward consistency, not perfection.
If the score dips, ask: did I skip the brief, or did life domains collide? Use Voice Organize to restate constraints. The Twin should adjust.
Weekly rhythm
- Mon–Fri: follow the brief; capture mid-day changes by voice.
- Weekend: lighter missions; protect recovery if health is lagging.
- Sunday: glance at Life Score trend and next week’s one career + one health focus.
Common mistakes
- Treating the brief as a suggestion list instead of a commitment
- Adding five new goals before finishing today’s mission
- Ignoring estimated time and overbooking the morning
- Chasing the score without finishing real work
